disinfect, cleanse and strip rooms in which infectious diseases bad
occurred, yet very few have complied with them, and thus the onus
of doing the work was thrown on the Vestry. At one time a considerable
amount of stripping and cleansing was done by landlords,
but gradually they have awakened to the fact that if they do not
execute it the Vestry will be compelled under the provisions of the
Act to do it.

The following statement gives the particulars for last year, as well as for the preceding year, of the clothing, etc., disinfected at the Vestry's Disinfecting Station:—
