TYPHUS FEVER.
No case was known. (Vide Table 0, Appendix.)
ERYSIPELAS.
341 cases, equal to a case-rate of 0.91 per 1,000, were notified
Of these, 25 occurred in the Islington Workhouse Infirmary, chiefly
among aged and consequently weak people. It is a noteworthy fact
that no case was notified from the Great Northern Hospital.

The cases were 149 below the corrected mean of the preceding six years:—
