SEASONAL MORTALITY.
During the year very full reports were published on the health of
the district at the close of each quarter, so that it will not be necessary
now to add much under this head.
The Zymotic Diseases were most fatal in the Second Quarter of the
year, chiefly owing to the large number of deaths from Measles, from
which disease 118 fatal cases were known, producing a death rate of
1.42 per 1,000 inhabitants.
In the Fourth Quarter the deaths from the Zymotic Diseases only
numbered 105, while in the First, Second and Third Quarter they
were respectively 231, 277 and 183.
