The summonses against the druggists, in respect of certain prescriptions,
which were certified by the Analyst to be inaccurately
dispensed, wer dimissed by the Magistrate, on the ground that the
Sale of Food and Drugs Acts are directed against adulteration and
not against inaccuracy, and that Section 7 of the Act of 1875, which
provides that no person shall sell any compound article of food or
compounded drug, which is no composed of ingredients in accordance
with the demand of the purchaser, does not apply to the sale of
medicine, composed only of the ingredients demanded.
