HEATHS FROM TUBERCULAR DISEASES.
Of these 238 were due to Phthisis and 86 to other tubercular
diseases, such as Tubercular Meningitis, Tabes Mesenlerica, and
General Tuberculosis, these diseases accounting for 13 percent, of
the deaths from all causes, and it is probable that many of the deaths
ascribed to Marasmus, Debility, Convulsions, etc., were tubercular
in nature.

In the several Wards of the Parish the deaths from Phthisis were as follows: —

Malignant diseases caused 80 deaths, 66 being of persons over
45 years of age.
OTHER CONSTITUTIONAL DISEASES.
Of other diseases of this class Rheumatic Fever was the cause
of 5 deaths, and Diabetes of 6.
