MORTALITY AT SCHOOL AGE.
At the age of 5 to 15 years, which is approximately the school
period of life, there were 105 deaths, being equal to an annual rate
of 37 per 1,000 of those estimated to be living at that age.
MORTALITY AT ADOLESCENCE.
Between the ages of 15 and 25 years, 59 deaths were recorded,
the rate of mortality being 27 per 1,000.
MORTALITY AT MATURITY.
Between the ages of 25 and 65 years there were 670 deaths,
corresponding to a death-rate of 12.5.
MORTALITY AT DECLINE.
At the age of 65 years and upwards, 286 persons died, the
death-rate at this age period being 71.1.
DISTRIBUTION OF DEATHS.
The following Table gives the number of deaths at different
ages, together with the Death-rate for all ages in each of the Wards
into which the parish is divided:—
