Special Causes of Death.—The deaths of parishioners from
the seven principal zymotic diseases, after correction for
those of our parishioners who died in hospitals outside our
district, are equal to a ratio of 1.0 per 1000 living inhabitants,
and less than that for the preceding year, which was
equivalent to 1.4. The ratio for London was 2.74, and for
the Northern districts 2 26.
The following table will show, at a glance, the diminution or excess of deaths in 1895 from the seven principal zymotic diseases:—
