INFLUENZA.
During last year 5 deaths were registered as due to
influenza, against 52 deaths in the previous year. No
official action was taken in reference to this complaint.
LICENSED SLAUGHTER HOUSES.
The whole of the 16 licensed slaughter houses in the
Parish were under regular fortnightly inspection by the
four District Inspectors during last year. At the annual
inspection of slaughter houses in October, 1895, I found
that 16 licenses were to be applied for, and that they were
all in a satisfactory condition. At the Special Sessions at
the London County Council, held on 23rd October, the
whole of the 16 licenses were granted without opposition
by your Vestry. The following is a list of the licensed
slaughter houses in the parish:—
