SEIZURE OF UNWHOLESOME FOOD
No articles of food were found to be in such a state as
to be unfit for the food of man so as to justify seizure
under 54 and 55 Vic., chap. 76, sec. 47. The heavy
penalties obtained some years ago have no doubt had a
salutary effect in preventing food being offered for sale in
such a state to justify seizure.
SANITARY NOTICES AND ADMINISTRATION.
During last year 2,516 notices were reported as having
been served by your Sanitary Inspectors, having for their
