used. With respect to Enterica, Dr. Goodall remarks that this
disease is, especially in its early stages, most difficult to diagnose
with certainty. If a patient is suspected to be suffering from Enteric
Fever and requires removal to Hospital, it is very important that
this removal should take place as early as possible. It is dangerous
to wait till a certain opinion as to the nature of the disease
can be given, for in many cases absolutely certain symptoms are
only observed at a period of the disease when removal is fraught
with the gravest risk to the patient's life.
