The proportion of deaths to cases treated is 1•2 per cent.,
which is very small and perhaps due to a certain extent to the
fact that the most severe cases are removed to the Union
Infirmary where one hundred and fifty-three Battersea
parishioners died during 1894, addition to eight in the Workhouse
as shewn on pages 4 and 5.
