and 8 ft. burner substituted for 5 ft.
Hardwick Street, 1 additional lamp post fixed
against New River wall opposite No. 8.
Gt. Percy Street, 1 additional lamp post fixed.
Plumber's Place, 2 additional lamp posts fixed.
Aylesbury Place, Reflector fixed in lamp,
opposite No. 20, and 2 existing lamp posts
refixed in new positions.
Baker Street, 1 lamp post refixed in new
position.
Lloyd Square, 1 additional lamp post and 1
refixed in new position.
Farringdon Road, 1 additional lamp post fixed
by Fire Station.
Whiskin Street, 1 additional lamp post by Free
Library with large lantern.
Permission was also given for the following trade
lamps to be fixed.
33, Chapel Street, 3 Bracket lamps.
28, Farringdon Road, 1 Bracket lamp.
The total number of public lamps in the Parish
at Lady-day, 1897, was 920. These lamps consist
of:—
7 square lanterns, with 4 ft. Incandescent
burners.
760 square lanterns, with 5 ft. burners.
97 circular top lanterns, with 5 ft. burners.
2 lanterns, with 5 ft. burners, on Churchyard.
