In Table VI. the birth-rates per 1,000 for the parish
and its component parts are given both for the year 1892,
and for the year 1893. The differences are on the whole
only slight. For the parish there is a falling-off of only ·8,
for Camberwell of only ·6, for Peckham of only ·7, for
St. George's of ·9; but in Dulwich, where the birth-rate is
always small, the fall is from 10·5 to 9.

VII. has been constructed for the purpose of assisting to
form as correct an estimate as possible of the death-rates of
the parish and of its sub-districts.
Table IX. gives the deaths due to the parish, which
actually occurred and were registered within its limits.
