in Chrisp Street, a quantily of rabbits unfit for human food; he
seized them, and took the same immediately before the Magistrate
for condemnation. A summons was granted, and the Defendant was
fined, and had to pay costs.
During the excessively hot weather many fishmongers made
application to the Sanitary Officers for certificates to the effect that
the fish purchased by them at the market was unfit for human food.
The fish was examined, and when found unsound, was treated with
disinfecting fluid, then sent to the Fish Manure Company, and the
desired certificate given.
Assuring the Board and the Sanitary Committee of my sincere
appreciation of the courtesy I have at all times received at their
