This section features new online services and functionality under development. Every prototype in the sandbox is built using data from the Wellcome Library, including catalogue records for books, archives, art and audiovisual material; analytics and collection usage data.
We are using the sandbox as a place to launch new website functionality, and to get your feedback so we can build tools that are easy to use. Keep in mind that these beta projects are works in progress. It is likely that you'll find unusual data, imperfect visual design and other things that don't look quite right. We expect this, and we hope you'll share your experiences - good and bad - with the Library web team. If you are a developer or researcher building your own apps, tools or text/data visualisations, we're interested in working with you.
We're curious to know what you think of these prototypes.
- Was there anything you particularly liked or disliked about the prototype?
- Did it help you do anything you can't do on the website now?
- Do you have ideas to improve the prototype?
- Do you have any ideas for projects you might like to develop using Wellcome Library data?
Please send your ideas and feedback to LibraryWebEditorial@wellcome.ac.uk.

What's In The Library? is a series of prototypes created over four weeks during summer 2015 with creative agency Good, Form & Spectacle.
There is lots to explore in What's In The Library. We recommend working backward from Week 4; the earlier prototypes are slower and prone to timing out, particularly where there are thousands of records to load.
