Computer workstations
You can log in to one of our computers using your Library card number. You will then be able to access a wide variety of resources, including online catalogues, e-journals, databases and Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
You must abide by the Library's computer use policy when using a computer.
Printing in the Library
Both black-and-white and colour printing is available when printing from the Library computers.
Printing charges are:
- 5p for black-and-white
- 26p for colour.
To retrieve your print job:
- Add credit to your Library card at the machine in the Copy Room.
- Input your Library card number
- The amount will be deducted from your card when your documents are printed.
MobilePrint
Library members can also print in black and white from their personal devices by:
Send an email from your laptop, tablet or smartphone to print@wellcomelibrary.org with up to three documents attached; these will be submitted to the Library’s printers. All Library members can use this option with the email address in their Library account. You can add a new email address to your account through the Web Release Portal.

If you're using a laptop, go to https://print.wellcomelibrary.org/MyPrintCenter/ and log in using your Library card number and password. Once logged in you will be able to upload files to the Library’s print queue.
However you submit the documents you will still have to release them manually at one of the Library printers.
Wireless internet access (WiFi)
WiFi is available to library users and login details can be found in the Library.
The WiFi service is subject to your acceptance of the Wellcome Trust's usage policy on free internet access.
You are welcome to use personal laptops and other mobile devices in the Library and sockets are provided for this purpose. All personal equipment is brought into the Library at your own risk.
WiFi is also available in the café where it is time-limited to 60 minutes.
