A variant of book 4 has lines 168 and 169 at the top of p. 17 omitted, although the note on line 169 subsists; p. 32 of book 5 states that purchasers of the imperfect book 4 could obtain a "perfect page", i.e. pp. 17-18, from their bookseller.

Book 5 has p. 32 in two states, the first (as the variant) with an ornament at foot, the second with the note on the replacement of pp. 17-18 in book 4 instead of the ornament - With an index and final errata page.
