Copy 1. Supplier/Donor: Sotheby, Wilkinson & Hodge, 5 - 10 December 1898. Binding: 17th century English calf with double gilt fillet border and small cornerpiece tools in gilt. Rebacked, with some remains of spine with gilt tooling. Chainmark at top right of upper board. Inscription on title page "Lib. Tho: Barlow e Coll. Reg. ex dono authoris." Note on text by Barlow opposite title page. Remains of bookplate on a2 verso (dedication leaf). Barlow left most of his books to Queen's College Oxford, and this may have been a Queen's library bookplate. Early shelfmark on endpaper "E 5.16". No William Morris book label but is lot 1126 from the Morris sale catalogue.
Copy 2. Interleaved, with numerous MS. notes. Transferred to A&M, MS. 8205.
