Following the first 2 annual reports (January and December 1866), the Northern Counties' Asylum for Idiots and Imbeciles was called the Royal Albert Asylum
Consists of a list of trustees, presidents, officers and committee members, a report of the general meeting at Sheffield on 28 October 1875, the report of the central committee (E. D. de Vitré, chairman), the medical superintendent's report (G. E. Shuttleworth), the auditors' report (David Davis, William Satterthwaite, William G. Welch), financial and statistical statements, and a list of clergymen and ministers, list of presents, census of idiots and imbeciles and a summary of contributions from districts.
