A film which was authorised by the 1934-34 Board of Trustees about the work of the association. The incumbent board presents their activities. W. D. Cutter, Secretary sits at his desk looking busy. A group of other men appear to be at meeting; a woman retrieves files from a filing cabinet which illustrate the myriad activities of the organisation. A photograph of the (male) board members is shown followed by footage of headquarters personnel walking to camera; they are young attractive women in the majority. The Editor Emeritus, George H. Simmons, the Business Manager, Will C. Braun, the Editor Morris Fishbein, Secretary and General Manager Olin West are seen at their desks. Photographs of the President-Elect, J. Tate Mason and President James S. McLester are shown. There is a rostrum shot of all the member secretaries grouped together. The Board of Trustees and House of Delegates are represented with photographs. Matters of interest are featured. Events; Sir SInclair Thomson visits Chicago in 1930; excerpts from the British Medical Association trip to Sydney in 1935, they visited Grassland Community Hospital in New York; luncheon at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel then onwards to Chicago; at Edgewater Beach Hotel. In Atlantic City the American and Canadian Medical Associations gathered; photographs indicate the scale of the meeting as well as the accompanying trade show. The Founder of the association is acknowledged.
