First volume is called: 'Manuscript copies of 'Early Correspondence: Summaries by H. C. Hunt, 1792 - 1822'. This includes some Tuke letters 1760s Second volume is called 'Early Correspondence 1794 - 1804. Summaries by H.C. Hunt' Loose pages are entitled 'Abstract of Early Correspondence in connection with the founding of The Retreat, York' These volumes and papers cover material of earlier or later dates than the titles suggest, and notes on some sources other than correspondence are included Some items in these volumes are transcripts or extracts, other items are merely noted, particularly items of later dates
