Correspondence Files on Patients, arranged Chronologically

This is a separate series of correspondence about patients, arranged in chronological order (mainly by quarter although sometimes for longer or shorter periods). This seems to have been a relatively short-lived alternative way of filing patients' correspondence - the series begins in 1922 and ends in 1930, after which date letters are once more filed under name of patient (and are thus found in RET 6/20/1). RET 20/2 has been left in its original form and no rearrangement has been made. Letters contained in the files in RET 6/20/2 seem to be similar to those in RET 6/20/1 and the period covered also overlaps. For some patients, material survives in both series. There is no index of names but the correspondence is arranged alphabetically within each chronological section.
