Writings by him, mainly verses, recounting his journeys and reminiscences; also letter from friend to Dr Kitching about him Some verses were written between his Retreat admissions when he was living in Cemetery Road, nearby (See also RET 6/14/1) Patient no. 1055, 1159, in Retreat 1863 - 1866, 1870 - 1882 (died). Age 54 on first admission, Quaker, married, accountant, from Horshay near Wellington, Shropshire. Melancholia, partial dementia
