"Illuminated illustrations of Froissart. Selected from the ms. in the British museum. By H. N. Humphreys. London, W. Smith, 1844," and "Illuminated illustrations of Froissart. Selected from the ms. in the Bibliothèque royale, Paris, and from other sources, London, W. Smith, 1845" were published with the intention to accompany, eventually to be bound with, the present edition. A reissue of the present edition, published London, H. G. Bohn, 1855, contains the plates of both series.
