Ownership note

A note in volume, DGH1/2/2/2/2, by Dr C. C. Easterbrook reads, 'After Dr W.A.F. Browne's death on 2nd March 1885 these two volumes became the property of his eldest surviving son, Sir James Crichton-Browne. After his death on 31st January 1938, they were gifted by his widow, Lady Audrey Crichton Browne, to Dr C. C. Easterbrook, by whom they were presented to the Crichon Royal Insitution for preservation among its Archives. CC Easterbrook'
