Title continues: 'in which will be found some authentic and interesting details respecting the purposes to which the hospitals in the metropolis, and particularly those of St. Thomas's, Guy's, and the London Hospital are applied : with particulars of such abuses, peculations, and misapplications of the funds of these institutions as have hitherto been discovered, and of the barter and sale of the patients' dead bodies for the purposes of dissection : with strictures on the conduct of Sir Astley Cooper, Sir William Blizard, Mr. Green, and also an exposure of the proceedings of Mr. Morgan, Mr. Webbe, surgeon to the Middlesex County Jail, the fire proof and invulnerable Mr. Wakley, and other subordinate members of the medical profession : accompanied by some original letters and documents in support and confirmation of the whole'
