This posthumous six volumes and atlas is the only collected edition of his works. Volumes 1-3 contain biographies of naturalists, chemists and physicians; volumes 4-5 the works on comparative anatomy, and volume 6 includes the second edition of Vicq-d'Azyr's famous 'Traite d'anatomie' dealing with neuroanatomy. The atlas contains 39 plates almost wholly devoted to neuroanatomy
