61 copies of map, with mss annotations : maps mounted on linen, folded in accordion style, and bound in black leather binding, in black leather slip-case ; individual maps - 16 x 23 cm; ; binding - 17 x 24 ; slip-case - 18 x 25 cm

Notes

There are 61 printed copies of an outline map showing the London boroughs, one for each week the survey ran. The maps are arranged chronologicaly and have mss annotations indicating locations of smallpox outbreaks (black ink spots) and dates. The survey ran from 3 Aug. 1901 (31st week) - 28 Dec. 1901 (52nd week) and 4 Jan. 1902 (1st week) - 27 Sept. 1902 (39th week). The annotations are in R.J. Reece's autograph
The record title is taken from the title on the binding and slip-case
