Copy 3 : Bound in 2 vols, interleaved with double sheets of plain paper, with some mss inscriptions. Vol. 1 - pages xx, 1- 352 ; Vol. 2. - pages 353-684. On verso of t.p. is mss no '3584' (probably a former LSHTM Library accession no.) and 'Donation 509'. The endpapers have a floral pattern
Copy 1. This copy of the 1900 edition is specified on the t.p. as the 'Eighth thousand' issue and the collophon (verso of t.p.) states it is the 'Revised enlarged edition June 1900, reprinted November 1900'. There are stamps on the t.p. of the 'Local Government Board, Whitehall, S.W.' and 'Supplied for the Public Service'
