Arthur Henry Cheatle was educated at King's College Hospital. He was one of (Lord) Lister's house surgeons at KCH. In 1899 he became assistant surgeon in aural surgery at KCH medical school, and in 1910 aural surgeon and lecturer in aural surgery at KCH
