Proof of English Men of Science

Bound proof copy of Galton's book English Men of Science: Their Nature and Nurture. An offprint of Galton's article "Statistics of Intercomparison with Remarks on the Law of Frequency of Error" reprinted from the Philosophical Magazine, January 1875, is stuck to the back cover, and a handwritten list of the "scientific men" surveyed is stuck inside the front cover.
