Description

Typewritten copies of nine letters sent by Galton to Mrs Maud Clark Gardiner, later Mrs Maud Gardiner Odell, dated between 1897 and 1901 regarding fingerprints sent by Mrs Gardiner to Galton. Also includes an affidavit made by Mrs Gardiner in 1915 stating that the typewritten letters are true copies of originals in her possession. With an envelope indicating that the copy letters and affidavit were sent by Mrs Gardiner to Karl Pearson.
