Description

The following description was provided by James Gardiner: "Hollywood's most infamous (or celebrated ) lavender marriage. Rudolph Valentino (1895-1926), the famous male star of the silent era, and his wife, the actress and designer Natacha Rambova (born Winifred Shaughnessy; 1897-1966). Both were bisexual: his best-known liaison was with the actor Ramon Novarro, hers with the actress and producer Alla Nazimova".
