Description

Robert Bertin was the foremost French female impersonator of the first decade of the twentieth century. He was a skilled impersonator of some of the stars of the French popular theatre. Here he imitates the Mexican circus performer Clotilde Alégria, standing in front of a painted backdrop of trees.
