Notes

The following description was provided by James Gardiner: "Harry Hawksbee, a music-hall entertainer, holds a fan and wears a long dress. This appears to be a rehearsal for a theatrical performance in a park in Yalding, Kent. The drag is good, and the subjects certainly appear to be enjoying themselves, while the occasion itself remains a mystery".
