About this work

Description

Large brown Kodak wallet (with later inscriptions, 'Thorpe' and 'Albania?') containing twelve negatives, numbered 1 to 12. For prints corresponding to all but three of these (prints 4, 11 and 12) see Arthur Martin Leake's (AML) Balkan War album (ref. no. RAMC/101/1) pages 1 to 3, where identified by AML as Cattaro [Kotor] and Antivari [Bar], Montenegro.

Negatives are undated but datable from AML's letters of 25 and 26 October 1912 held at Hertfordshire Archives.
