Correspondence between Cedric O Carter, Medical Research Council, and Penrose regarding the mother of an infant girl who was born with Hirschsprung's disease and congenital heart lesion, and wanted an estimate of genetical risks for future pregnancies. Includes letters dated 1964 confirming the birth of a healthy male child to this mother, and a copy of a letter from Carter to J Suchet about the case.
