Description

Correspondence predominantly concerning Penrose's investigation into birth, marriage and death records in parish registers for genealogical details of the Lambert family. Also includes letters of thanks from recipients of copies of Penrose's article "The Porcupine Man" in The Listener, 1957, and correspondence with Curt Stern detailing the progress of their investigation, and arrangements for publication of their joint article "Reconsideration of the Lambert pedigree (ichthyosis hystrix gravior)" in Annals of Human Genetics, volume 22, number 3, 1958.
