Patient data relating to actual and suspected cases of Down's syndrome, relayed by Penrose and other medical professionals through correspondence. Contains letters, notes, lab reports, finger, palm, and sole prints, photographs of chromosomes from cell cultures in organic state [karyograms] and systematised [karyotypes], and drawings of the main lines on patients' dermal ridges.
