Correspondence regarding arrangements for the 7th International Congress of Genetics, which was held in Edinburgh, 23-30 August 1939.

Primary correspondents are: Otto Louis Mohr, Chairman of the International Committee, Gunnar Dahlberg, F A E Crew, H J Muller and N I Vavilov. Includes correspondence on the withdrawal of Soviet scientists from the conference and the resignation of Vavilov as President of the Congress.

Also includes a copy of the revised conference agenda, abstracts of papers and an article titled "Social Biology and Population Improvement" by F A E Crew, C D Darlington, J B S Haldane et al., reprinted from Nature vol. 144, p. 521, September 16 1939.
