Letters relating to the Japanese invasion of China and the need for assistance. Includes letter from R Lin of Shanghai regarding Charlotte Haldane's visit to China, draft of a letter from Haldane sent to various people regarding the need for economic and financial aid for China, letters from K M S Holt, Wilfrid Roberts and Archibald Sinclair in response to Haldane's letter and a letter of thanks from Haldane to S O Gregory.
