Description

Minutes of the twenty-third meeting of the Underwater Physiology Sub-Committee held on 24 October 1945. Includes a cover note inviting comments on the minutes, and letters between J B S Haldane and G L Brown, Chairman of the sub-committee, about an amendment to Commander Shelford's statement in the official version of the minutes, and Haldane's assertion that it is less clear than in the pre-circulated draft. The correspondence also discusses the removal of restrictions by the Admiralty on discussions of existing diving gear and the experimental work that led to their development.
