Description
Correspondence, newspaper cuttings relating to Haldane's involvement in the inquiry into the loss of the submarine HMS Thetis. The Thetis sank during diving trials on the 1st June 1939 with the loss of 99 men. Haldane gave evidence at the subsequent inquiry.
