About this work

Description

Hutchison was an employee of the NRDC and a guest researcher at the Department of Genetics at the University of Glasgow under the direction of Pontecorvo. The discussion came about after Pontecorvo objected to a previous clause in the agreement which stated that Mr Hutchison should send regular progress reports to the NRDC. Pontecorvo wanted it to be clear that Hutchison, as a guest researcher, was responsible exclusively to the University, and that the University would own the property of this research work. Copy of the agreement with Pontecorvo's notes and corrections is also included.
