Description
The Lancet cutting contains marginal holograph additions, one dated 1853. There are added holograph notes on his controversies with the Royal Society, Sir B. C. Brodie and Sir J. Y. Simpson: also an A.l.s. (1 p. 4to. 221/2 x 191/2 cm.), dated 4/12/1839 from Joseph Swan [1791-1874], Anatomist and Surgeon, concerning the anatomy of the uterus, and copies of Lee's own letters one dated 11/7/1873. Produced in London.
