About this work

Description

Copiador de recetas. With the names of the prescribing Physicians, etc. The entries begin at the middle of August 1881. There are only four for 1882, and none for 1883. For 1884 they extend from January to October only. The next entries are headed Torrejoncillo, and run from July to October 1885. After this is a note stating that the compiler purchased a shop at Trujillo in May 1888. Entries from July 15 to January 20 1889 have been torn out, and are followed by entries to January 6, 1890. Produced in Torrejoncillo & Trujillo.

1 volume 140 ll. 4to. 21 x 15 cm. Original half-calf binding: spine damaged. Some leaves have been torn out from the middle and from the end of the volume. Written partly in pencil by several hands.

Ownership note

This MS. belonged to Dr. Francisco Xavier Blanco Juste [1882-1953], who has written a signed note pasted on outside the upper cover in which he states that it had belonged to Dr. Corrales of Torrejoncillo, in the Caceres Province of Spain.
