A book of horse cures, by an anonymous author. ff. 3r.-15r. table of contents. ff. 15v.-17v. blank. ff. 18v.-117v. remedies in 485 chapters. ff. 117v.-118r. additional equine remedies but including an unguent for 'il mal francese'.

Physical description

119 ff. (original pagination 1-201) 1 vol., 285 × 200 mm. Original paper covers, with vellum ties. Ownership inscription inside front cover erased. Another volume from the set, bearing similar shelf marks to MSS.7020-7021: vii h-3 (f. 2r.) in the same (?)18th cent. hand; H35 in pencil inside front cover in the same later hand, which has also written 'Von den Pferden' beneath.
