Contains: copies of Medical Department orders and memoranda, observations on reports, and correspondence from the Cape of Good Hope, 1847-1848; and orders and correspondence, mainly re personnel, written by Hall as Principal Medical Officer in the Crimea, Oct-Nov 1854, including a report, 20 Nov 1854, to the Director General, Army Medical Services, after the public outcry against conditions for the troops in the Crimea.
