Description

Correspondence concerning the possible filming of James Watson's book The Double Helix, primarily with Lawrence Bachmann of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc. but also with the representatives of other production companies.

The book was eventually filmed by the BBC in 1987 as 'The Race for the Double Helix' (see also file PP/CRI/L/1/3/3).
