Pp. 1-105, 159-end are written in a neat copper-plate hand, and are probably of the early 18th cent. Other parts are by later 18th cent. hands: there are also additions on pp. 103, 106, 146-148, dated 1888. The date 1707 occurs on p. 75: the several hands of the section pp. 107-145 seem to be of the first half of the 18th cent. P. 159 has a separate title-page: 'Secrets et curiosités naturelles et chimiques' and contains alchemical and chemical receipts, receipts for lacquer, etc.
